First of two blockbuster projects was located in an old "interior mall" Shopping Center that fell victim to a new regional mall developed by General Growth. Pierson Company was overseeing the redevelopment of the complex and sought strong national tenants that could survive the changing shopping patterns in this new market competition brought to the center.
Pierson Company was successful in attracting Blockbuster as a tenant and performed lease negotiations on behalf of the owner. Design activities followed, requiring us to devise a new facility to accommodate the tenant's detailed prototype plant within the properties constraints.
